The 2023 marine season has arrived. The latest marine information will be shared at the boat show venues.
The Pacifico Yokohama venue will put the spotlight on its main stage, and the Yokohama Bayside Marina venue will provide fulfilling boarding experience programs. The boat show is based on the concept of every day being fun, and various events will be held at both venues on each day.
At the Pacifico Yokohama venue, fun projects will be offered in each corner, such as the boat show special courses "Umi-Zemi" (Sea Seminars) where you can learn about the sea, talk shows on stage, a sailing village for yachts and now a newly added fishing village.

Japan Boat of the Year 2022 Awards Ceremony
Stage March 23rd (Thurs.)12:30~13:00
The "Japan Boat of the Year" (BOTY) is awarded to the boat chosen as the best boat of that year among all boats and personal watercraft sold in Japan, whether domestic or imported. At the boat show, boats will be selected and awarded across seven categories: small boat, medium-size boat, large boat, PWC, BEST VALUE, BEST FUN, and BEST FISHING, along with the Japan Boat of the Year 2022 being announced and awarded.
Kenichi Horie Talk Show
Story of a 8,500km solo yacht voyage

A stage talk by Kenichi Horie, who crossed the Pacific at the age of 83, and Masami Takubo, chairman of the Marine Journalists Conference. Mr. Kenichi Horie will talk about himself and the sea, including the charms of open sea sailing, the secrets of solo sailing and about how crossing was done differently roughly 60 years ago. This stage talk will commemorate him receiving the "MJC Marine Award" given by the Marine Journalists Conference.

A superb lifestyle enjoying both the sea and cars

This is a world-class premium panel where experts in luxury imported cars will come together.
We will provide tips and suggestions for enjoying both the sea and cars, with special stories that can only be heard here. It will be moderated by Ms. Yumi Ochi, a total image consultant, and experts from each company will appear on-stage.
ChiyoTia LIVE
〜Island Breeze @Boatshow 2023〜

Born in Japan and raised in Hawaii, the natural sounds played by ChiyoTia will evoke emotions through the power of poetry, with a worldly view that will make you feel the islands and the seas. Following on from last year, they will continue to convey these charm on the event stage of Pacifico Yokohama, and will create a special time for marine lovers to feel the seas.
Kojiro Shiraishi Talk Show
Road to the Vendée Globe, a round-the-world yacht race

Skipper Kojiro Shiraishi of the DMG MORI SAILING TEAM was the first Asian to complete the Vendée Globe, said to be the toughest yacht race in the world. He presently spends his days training strictly at his base in France in preparation for the next Vendée Globe (2024-25). Mr. Shiraishi will talk about his goals for the next sail, training of the next generation, and the future of the Japanese sailing world.

"Umi-Zemi" Sea Seminars
With the slogan of "learning about marine life in a fun way", we will hold courses that can be enjoyed by everyone, from beginners to veterans, at the Pacifico Yokohama venue. A total of 18 lectures will be held during the boat show period. The program is a must for marine fans. Priority will be given for advance reservations.
Family Marine Park
(Pacifico Yokohama Venue, Yokohama Bayside Marina Venue, Pukari Pier, Hakkeijima Marina Venue)
At this year's boat show, we have prepared programs for parents and children to enjoy at each venue, creating a family marine park.
You can enjoy the Marine Kids Village program at the Pacifico Yokohama venue, mini boat and small yacht boarding experiences at the Yokohama Bayside Marina venue, sailing ship boarding experiences on the ship "Mirai-e" at Pukari Pier and cutter boat sailing experiences at the Hakkeijima Marina venue. All programs will be held on the 25th (Sat.) and 26th (Sun.).

TPSP workshop
For those who ride PWC in Tokyo Bay
TPSP (the Tokyo Ports, Bays and Rivers Watercraft Safe Navigation Project) holds safety seminars for personal watercraft users to prepare them for safe navigation in the Tokyo Harbor, Bay and rivers, and to ensure the observance of rules and manners. In addition, a certificate of completion is given to those who have attended the safety seminar, agree with the purposes, and have pledged to strive for safe use of personal watercraft and observance of the rules and manners as a TPSP member. We will hold TPSP workshops at the boat show venue, so please come join us. You can check the TPSP website for details and how to apply.

Boarding Experience Event
We offer Japan's largest boarding experience program. Our popular options give actual experience at sea, such as by allowing you to experience boat operation without a boat license or experience sailing. From inexperienced users to veterans, we have prepared programs that match every level.
・Try being captain (program for those who do not have a boat license)
・Maneuvering lessons (limited to boat license holders)
・Boat (advanced) Tokyo Bay navigation course (limited to boat license holders)
・Yacht (sailing cruiser) experience sailing (no boat license required)
Yokohama Bay Cruise
Like last year, the Yokohama Bay Cruise will run between the Pacifico Yokohama venue (Pukari Pier) and Yokohama Bayside Marina during the boat show. Enjoy 45 minutes on a large cruising boat with views of Yokohama Port, Yokohama Bay Bridge, Honmoku, Negishi Bay and other locations that represent Yokohama. Includes one drink per person. Why not take this opportunity to enjoy Yokohama from the sea?
